Technical Difficulty: 2 ALARM FIRE: INTERMEDIATE INTENSITY
Equipment: 360 PULLEY MACHINE PHYSIOBALL
Training Benefit: BALANCE/STABILITY STRENGTH
|
Starting Position: Place the Handles at the top. Lie with the upper back on a Physioball with the feet on the ground. Push through the heels and bridge the lower body. Squeeze the gluteals at the end range and hold throughout the exercise. Grasp the Handles with the thumbs facing out and the arms extending straight above the shoulders.
Progress: Curl the Handles toward the ears until the forearms touch the biceps. Return to the starting position and repeat.
Tips: Balance/Stability Precautions. Keep the elbow(s) shoulder width apart. Upon straightening the arm(s), keep the tension on the Biceps and do not fully extend at the elbow(s).
