    MEDICINE BALL

    Training Benefit:
    STRENGTH


    Starting Position: Sit on the mat with the knees slightly bent. Contract/brace the abdominals as if receiving a punch to the midsection and hold. Lean back at the waist and maintain this position throughout the exercise. Hold the Medicine Ball in both hands.

    Progress
    : Bring the knees and chest together, folding the body in half while passing the Medicine Ball under the legs to the right. Return to the starting position, passing the Medicine Ball over the hips to the left hand. Fold in half again, passing the ball around the back to the right hand. Extend the body and pass the Medicine Ball over the hips to the left hand. Repeat.
