    Starting Position:
    Hold a dumbbell in each hand. Stack a couple of Steps and place your left foot on top of the Step. Brace your core.

    Progress
    : Lean forward at your waist slightly. Step down with the right leg and lower your body until your left thigh is below neutral. Push through your left heel to return to the starting position. Do not fully extend your left leg or rest your right leg on top of the step. Repeat.

    Tips
    : Backward Lunge with Step can be performed with a barbell, medicine ball, weight/plate, resistance band.
