    Exercise Name: Calf Raises: Seated, Tuff Stuff Machine, Heels In

    CALVES
    LEGS (ACCESSORY, ALL)

    MACHINE

    Training Benefit:
    STRENGTH


    Starting Position: Sit upright with proper posture on the Bench with the feet shoulder width apart on the ledge. Secure the thigh pad to the top of the thighs. Point the heels inward. Press through the balls of the feet and remove the support. Lower the heels as far as possible. Contract/brace the abdominals as if receiving a punch to the midsection and hold.

    Progress
    : Raise upward to the balls of the feet. Return to the starting position and repeat.

    Tips
    : Upon movement, keep the ankle joint moving straight up and down.
