    Equipment:
    MACHINE

    Training Benefit:
    STRENGTH


    Starting Position: Adjust the shoulder pad to chest level. Place both shoulders under the pad. Stand upright with proper posture (knees locked but not hyperextended) and with the feet shoulder width apart. Point the toes forward. Contract/brace the abdominals as if receiving a punch to the midsection and hold. Lower the heels to the ground.

    Progress
    : Raise upward to the balls of the feet. Return to the starting position and repeat.

    Tips
    : . Upon movement, keep the ankle joint moving straight up and down.
