    Exercise Name: Abdominal Chops: Supine, Combo, Knee Tucks, Medicine Ball, Ankle Weight, 1 Leg











    Primary Muscles:
    ABDOMINALS (ALL)
    ABDOMINALS-OVERALL
    HIP FLEXORS

    Technical Difficulty:
    3 ALARM FIRE: ADVANCED INTENSITY

    Equipment:
    ANKLE WEIGHTS
    MEDICINE BALL

    Training Benefit:
    STRENGTH


    Starting Position: Attach an Ankle Weight to each ankle. Lie with the knees bent and close together. Grasp the Medicine Ball with both hands and reach back to the outside of the left ear (elbows bent). Draw in the abdominals toward the spine and hold. Extend the right leg and hold a few inches above the ground.

    Progress
    : Using the abdominals, curl the upper body and reach for the outside of the right hip with the Medicine Ball (by twisting at the shoulders). Simultaneously raise and tuck the right knee to the left shoulder. Return to the starting position and repeat. After the set, repeat on the other side.

    Tips
    : Low Back Precautions.
